Dr. Trott is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry. He is a Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. He has been in practice for more than 30 years in the Upstate, Pennsylvania, California and Ohio. He is a graduate of Andrews University in Berrien Springs, MI and attended a rotating medical internship at the Hospital of the Good Samaritan in Los Angeles, CA. He completed his Psychiatric residency and fellowship at the University of Cincinnati.
He is a Greenville Health System Assistant Professor of Psychiatry for the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville and is medical director of the partial hospital program and intensive outpatient program.
His areas of interest include: disorders of mood, anxiety, and substances, as well as borderline and narcissistic personality disorders and PTSD.
